MLB World Series Betting – Yankees

Now that we’re ready to officially move into the second half of the MLB Betting season, it’s time to seriously look at the baseball odds contending teams for the World Series. Of course, bettors are always looking for an angle and value at Sports Betting. However, when it’s all said and done, what bettors want is a win, period.

If you’re looking for a baseball betting winner for a league pennant and the World Series, how can you look beyond the New York Yankees. Leading both their division and league, the Yanks are extremely well-positioned for a return to the title series.

Everything seems to be going New York’s way right now. The Rays are hanging in with them, but have not been as consistent as the Bronx Bombers all year long. As for the Redsox, they’re mired in an injury funk.

The Sports Betting baseball odds are 2 to 3 for the Yankees to win the American League pennant and 9 to 4 for them to win the MLB championship. Yes, the odds aren’t going to give you an incredible return as compared to some of the other teams in the running. However, New York really does look unstoppable right now, something not lost on baseball odds betting experts.

And where exactly is their weakness? We’re hard-pressed to find one. They have offensive depth, a terrific starting rotation, and a strong bullpen. But most importantly, they have the experience and swagger needed to pull over another World Series title run. Veterans like Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera are invaluable when it comes to keeping the clubhouse focused and serene. The veteran leadership also extends to the management as well. Joe Girardi has proven that he is a capable skipper, adept at late-inning moves.

Then there’s the added motivation factor. The death of owner George Steinbrenner could serve as a galvanizing force throughout the entire organization. Look out, the MLB betting move right now is to take the Yankees to win it all once again.
